Tinashe – Zambezi

Feel Good Music / Feel Good Story

Man o man I wish I could post more music like this here. I realize that we have become mainly dominated by hip-hop but that is because of the exceeding amount of free music in the industry and doesn’t mean I only like that, there is always time for music like this. This is a fun track that will have your head bobbing and your body grooving, don’t resist, it’s okay. This is his story . . .

I was originally shipped over from Zimbabwe so I could eventually grow to become a doctor/lawyer and wire money back home via Western Union, that didn’t go so well… I blame/thank MJ. I’m currently more in love with my guitar than I have ever been. I make guitar music. I am not ashamed to say l love pop music. That’s what its all about for me. Good music fueled by the world around me

Mr. Hudson – Love Never Dies

New Hudson

Maybe you guys don’t appreciate Mr. Hudson but I do, especially because of his work with Kanye (love their collabs). Well he is on G.O.O.D. Music and there is a reason for it, this track is kind of an upbeat track from him and it has tags unfortunately but it’s a pretty solid track from his upcoming project. Enjoy . . .

Tinie Tempah – Frisky

Awesome Tinie Track

Hopefully you guys recognize the name from the song Pass Out which Chiddy sampled and Snood Dogg did a remix to, well here is another banger from him. It sounds a lot like Pass Out and it is just his unique flow. This is one that could def be thrown on at a party and have everyone dancing n then when it ends be like “danggg, where’d that track come from?” Enjoy . . .

K.Flay – 2 Weak

Female Rapper

Well, for all you Midwest GMAD fans, here’s one from the great state that is Illinois. She goes in on a slowed down version of the Grizzly Bear instrumental that everyone else has been using recently. When I saw her picture I thought she’d be some sort of dance music and was completely shocked when she rapped. I know a female face isn’t something that’s a regular but still check this one out. Here’s some more info on her…

(1) I was born in the year nineteen hundred eighty five. That’s a looong time after Mesopotamia was the place to be.

(2) I grew up in the great state of Illinois where I played basketball and ate beef stew, then moved to another great state (CalifornIA) where I went to school and now make music and eat chicken tortilla soup and original goldfish.

(3) I like reading books and riding in my car with the radio turned way up.

(4) You know Alex Mack and how she turned into silver goo? I’m kind of like the silver goo.

Example – Last Ones Standing (Benny Benassi Remix)

Dope Dance Remix

Well, sadly, the only way I know Benny Benassi is through his “Satisfaction” track (Don’t worry, after I heard this track I immediately started downloading some of his other work). Nonetheless, a great remix here, and with that, a great party song, reminds me a lot of Tiesto Remix of Dirty South’s “Phazing ft. Rudy”. Plus, it’s called “Last Ones Standing” so that title alone brings about thoughts of a party. Enjoy! and turn the volume up!

Taio Cruz – Dynamite (Stonebridge Remix Radio Edit)

Dance Hard.

Well I think those two words alone are enough to describe this track. If this one doesn’t make you want to dance, I don’t know what will. This is much better then the original by Taio (in my opinion), and is very well done by Stonebridge Remix. Check this one out, especially if you’re a fan of dance music.

UPDATE: Who’s ready for some dope GMAD shirts (not the crap I made awhile back, real shirts, designed by people with skill in graphic design)? They will be here soon

Eminem ft. Ludacris & Krayzie Bone – Drop The World (NickT Remix)

Sick New Mash Up

Check out this recently-mashed mix by an artist by the name of NickT, who is making a name for himself on YouTube. Lil Wayne was scrapped from the song in this mash up, but Luda’s classic “Grew Up A Screw Up” verse makes up for it. Enjoy.

Also, be on the lookout for “Replay: The Mixtape Vol.2″ dropping on GMAD next week. If you missed the first one, you can get it here.

Blue Scholars – New People {Empire Remix}

Sick Blue Scholars Remix

Any chance I get to re-post “New People”, or in this case, a remix of that track, I’m going to take it. The original of this song is what got me hooked on this group, so I suggest you check that out too if you are new to the Blue Scholars. I know you guys will enjoy this remix so check it out and download as fast as you can.

Flip Them Guys (Sean J & Soy) – FTW (Big Bulge Music)

New FTG Track

So to set this post up, I put up a FTG track earlier called “Do Better” (check it out) and when I heard that I really got into this group and their promising future. Since then I’ve been in contact with Sean J himself and he just emailed me with the mixtape cover and an unreleased track that one be on the tape. I’m really diggin’ this new track, bangin beat, great lyricism, check it out…

Before the Who The Flip? Mixtape hits the internet this Monday, August 2nd, Flip Them Guys (Sean J & Soy) decided to give people a treat fortheir patience- an exclusive, unreleased track called ”FTW (Big Bulge Music)”. You will not be seeing this song in the tracklisting of the mixtape, but hopefully it’ll turn up on a future project. The Who The Flip? Mixtape is presented by Reign Clothing Boutique and mixed by DJ Sureshot.

Moka Only – Sweet!

Nice Chill Flow

When haastradamus posted Moka Only’s “Sitting On The Porch” you guys loved the track and the chill rhymes he brought with the nice beat. This follows that track perfectly and will not disappoint. Here’s another chill one from Moka Only and has really nice sampling in this too. It sounds like it might not be mastered yet, so be on the lookout for another high quality version, but nonetheless, amazing song, perfect for these summer nights.

Mike Posner- Bow Chicka Wow Wow

New Posner Leak

So Mike had been hyping this album up a lot and if you ask me this is kind of a weak song to leak because it takes away from the hype because it really doesn’t match the quality on his first two tapes. Well hopefully the rest pick up, still not bad and still worth the download, but Mike is one of the best out there . . .

Moxie Black – So Much Better

Awesome New Hip-Hop Sound

So I got an e-mail from Moxie Black with this song attached and the following to say and I knew the name sounded familiar and I checked my iTunes and sure enough one of their songs had made it’s way into my iTunes courtesy of PnP (surprise surprise). Well here is what they said and below are the two tracks which you are gonna want to download now, you can expect GMAD to cover them a lot as they are still on the dl and could blow up over night . . .

“So Much Better” is a post-modern juxtaposition between anti-establishmentarianist tendencies and western eco-polity in the frame of global economics…………NHHAT!

Call it the summer-jam of 2010, easy to reminisce to, but so much better to make new memories with. One part indie-pop, two parts hip-hop, shake, stir, now drink it up!

KiD CuDi – Mojo So Dope

New CuDi

I hate posting snippets of songs which is why I still haven’t on GMAD, but if you go to other sites you may have caught the half minute snippet of this song. Well now the full song is released with tags and I gotta say CuDi has really been impressing me lately. I haven’t stopped listening to Erase Me since it came out (prob my fav summer song so far), and I’m sure this one will be on repeat for awhile as well . . .

The Hood Internet – Move it for Pimp

Bun B vs The New Pornographers Mash-Up

I’ve been following The Hood Internet for awhile and am generally a big fan of their work. Their mashes usually bring together rap lyrics with some random tunes, and most turn out very well, like this one.

J. Cole – Problems

New J. Cole

J. Cole is certainly not a stranger on GMAD, yet I feel like I don’t hear enough buzzing about this kid in general. Maybe its his laid-back style that doesn’t throw itself in your face, but if you’re the type of listener who likes to soak in the lyrics of your music, you’ll recognize that J. Cole is on to something.

CFENZ emailed me this one about an hour ago and so far I’ve lost count how many times I’ve listened to it. Here is the Beatles’ “Let It Be” mixed with Shaggy’s one-hit wonder track “It Wasn’t Me”. I absolutely love this mash-up and i hope you guys do too.

Major Lazer Mix and Mash

2 Major Lazer “Songs”

First we have a song that was featured on Benzi’s smash summer ’10 mixtape, Ignition (Keep It Remixing Louder) (R. Kelly vs Major Lazer). This was mixed back in Feb by TheHoodInternet by taking my favorite Major Lazer song, Keep It Goin’ Louder and adding some vocals from R. Kelly’s oldschool classic Ignition [Remix]. A real nice song that I KNOW you all know the words to already.

The Hood Internet – Ignition (Keep It Remixing Louder) (R. Kelly vs Major Lazer)

The next is more than a year old, but still a real nice party song. Lil Jon samples Major Lazers first single, Pon De Floor and Casely adds some nice R&B vocals to this real up-beat song. If you havn’t heard the originals of these songs I highly recommend you grab them.. and if you have allready heard them, I assume you will like these ‘new’ songs as much as I do.

Nardwuar vs. Drake (Interview)

You Better Already Know

The person I’m talking about in the “you better already know” is not Drake (sorry Abbie) but rather the interviewer Nardwuar. Being that most of you are music enthusiasts like myself, I’m sure a lot fo you have already watched all of his interviews (as you should) and in that case here is just the most recent one which was posted yesterday and I spotted at our friends over at TheMaskedGorilla (btw our partnership officially starts next week . . . get excited). If you don’t know Nardwuar you need to clear about 2 hours of your night and watch all of his interviews. This guy is like no other, he does the most extensive research – beyond extensive, to a creepy level actually – on these artists and has them speechless. Two of my personal favorite where with Nas and with N.E.R.D. (hit the jump to watch them) in which they were literally in shock during. If you guys have followed this site for awhile you know I never post interviews (besides our own) so hopefully you realize how impressive I think these are. Enjoy . . .

Well, for you Marky fans out there, his EP ‘Journey to Markyland, USA: Rest Stop 3′ dropped today and after listening through it, this was my favorite track off of it. His track “Rocket Man” is also on the EP and has been featured on GMAD before too. Check this one out and enjoy guys!

One-2 – Demons

Deep Rap

This is going to be hit or miss with some people. There I said it. But listen to it and actually focus on the song. Deep stuff here. The first time I listened to this it reminded me of Dance with the Devil. I’d suggest the download and listening to it on Saturday morning at 3am. It will make sense then. Good rap. Hook is okay. Enjoy true rap..

One-2 – Demons (click to download)

Oh and here is what the man himself said..

“..I’m working hard on my forthcoming exclusive double EP release. Chapter I is called “History”, containing a classic Hip Hop sound, with heavy kicks and fresh punch lines. While Chapter II is called “Destiny” and has a more modern, retro-infused sound with clever word play…”

X.O. – Sailing Away

Very Creative Song

The creativity is the reason this song got a post. Decent song, but he raps over Christopher Cross’s Sailing. Yeah I know that song, you got a problem? Just listen. He keeps the same chorus as Cross. Enjoy.

P.S. It’s also deep. Posting some sad songs today. Sorry.

XV – Top of the Roof

New Vizzy [Tags] (Sorry)

So the last few XV leaks haven’t been the best, but this doesn’t disappoint. XV goes in over a smooth beat and is aided by a soothing hook. I will warn you, there are some tags and they are idiotic sounded. But enjoy. Hopefully the tag-less will be sprung free., but probably not for a while because Evil Empire and XV have an entire project due out soon. Enjoy

Black Dada – Round Round

Fun Summer Song

So I got this song back in Januarty but it really feels more like a summer song… so think it belongs to be posted now. From a Haitian artist that goes by Black Dada, this high energy song kidna sounds like a mix of Akon and Sean Kingston… but in a good way. I really love the beat, the lyrics are dumb, but hey… fun party songs arnt supposed to have thoughtful lyrics. ENJOY!

Usher – Hot Toddy feat. Jay-Z & Ester Dean

Nice Collabo

Very similar to this collaboration, it’s kind of hard to go wrong with this pair (ignore Ester Dean). This is a leak off Usher’s Versus EP and apparently Ciara will be the final feature on this song. I’m sure many of you out there don’t like R&B so you think Usher is terrible, but I will defend that he is one of the most talented men in the business today. To prove so I added a bonus song from Versus EP. “Love Em All” is really nice.. Great song to late night jam to. Shouts to Paul Shardy Boy Fagan. Enjoy..

Wale – The Eyes of a Tiger

New Dope Wale

Here goes a new joint from Mr. Never Wear the Same Thing slash Mr. No Days Off off his mixtape More About Nothing. The song is about none other than the #1 golfer in the world and Wale goes in. Good stuff here. Wale doesn’t get enough credit. He’s good but often he is rapping about nothing whatsoever; weird his mixtapes are called the same thing… More About Nothing slated to drop August 3rd. Enjoy.

Kele – Everything You Wanted (RAC Remix)

Nice New Feel

Well, in my about me I said that you guys will be hearing more then rap/hip hop from me and I realized I haven’t really been doing that recently, so here’s one that fits that bill. For all you Bloc Party fans, this is the lead singer of that group. I really am liking this electronic feel with his voice, I always thought Bloc Party was too like dark/gloomy for his voice. He does a lot with this and uses some dream-like effects on his voice to make it even better. Also, it’s a RAC Remix, so you can’t go wrong here. Make sure to listen to this one all the way through before you judge it. Enjoy!

N.A.S.A. ft. Kanye West, Santogold & Lykke Li – Gifted (Steve Aoki Remix)

Older Steve Aoki Remix

Steve Aoki takes this original song with a stacked line up and transforms it to a heavy-bass banger. Especially with Yeezy on the track, I don’t think the original got as much attention as it deserved. Maybe Aoki’s twist will change things.
