Dope. Period.


I know all of you hate my vocabulary and I’m trying to get better (at least I will) but trying to describe this song would be a fail, so why not just stick with dope. The beat is rhythmic and beautiful, and the lyrics just kill it. This will def be on the best of the week list I imagine and take my word in that this is pretty unreal. I spotted it earlier today at 2db (who also sponsored the Cuey tape – lucky, lucky people)

Smooth Wiz Khlalifa


Little bit of a different Wiz than were used to. Wiz seems to be hoping on a bunch of different beats and trying different flows ever since signing to his new label. I’m assuming that’s because Atlantic might not enjoy the ‘way too high’ Wiz. Whatever you do, DO NOT listen past 3:45 if you don’t want to hear jazz. It’s just some fella on the sax. Wiz can do no wrong in my eyes. Enjoy..


Update: Wiz is scheduled to release a new tape and then another album. If his tape is anything like OJ & Kush we are all winners.

Fresh Talent?


Rapping aside, this kid is a very intelligent 2nd grader. I see no way of him not succeeding in life. I will keep it short because I want you to watch this video and sound off in the comments. You can check out his MySpace to see the Memphis bass-knocking influence in his abilty to actually pull quality production. Be on the lookout. Yo Gotti already co-signed his success. Enjoy.
