Cal – Fade (Prod. Rob Resnick)

One of those songs you put on repeat all day

Sean Brennan, Trey Palms’ manager hit me up with this amazing electronic/pop song that I quit playing. The producer of the song is Rob Resnick, who is from Boston on production of Trey Palms’ first mixtape. It’s a pretty chill song that I’m pretty sure you will love and would download pretty quick and easily.

Update: Make sure you vote on every song because that is how we will select songs for the best of the week, which we should update very soon with some hot playlists, with links for you to download all the sons from the lists. The highest rated songs of the week will make the cut.

Mac Miller – Senior Skip Day (Music Video)

Dope video & song

One of my favorite artists, Mac Miller, releases a new video, and it is of the 5th track off his recent, extremely ill mixtape K.I.D.S. (Kickin Incredibly Dope Shit). “Senior Skip Day” was my favorite song off the tape, so I’m glad that was the song chosen. Aren’t those pretty dope pj’s he’s rockin in the video? Another dope video shot by Rex Arrow Films. Get redirected to our article and download page on K.I.D.S. (Kickin Incredibly Dope Shit) below and download “Senior Skip Day” individually, too.

Kanye West – Runaway (Remix Feat. Kinetics & One Love & Pusha T)

Another dope cut from Kinetics & One Love

One of our favorite group of rappers and song writers are releasing a new project, and every Friday we will bring you a new song remixed from one of the amazing recent songs released from other performers. I think it’s a great idea, but I would still like to see completely new original material from them, as well. This song is pretty hot, though. They seem to always amaze me with the words and ideas they think of for every song they release. Some of the topics they include in this song are dinosaurs, a spinal cord, Listerine, Gatorade, the Statue of Liberty, a bakery, and frats. I can already tell their new album Cross-Fading Back to Normal is gonna be some hot shit. Become a fan of Kinetics & One Love on facebook. Kinetics & One Love were kind enough to send us this new, fresh track, so here’s info from the email:

We’re releasing a mashup album of “Fading Back to Normal” remixed with pop songs. we’re calling the project “Cross-Fading Back to Normal” and releasing a new track every Friday, starting tomorrow today…

Sources Say Beyonce + Jay-Z are Expecting First Child

Nothing is official yet. This is what we have to go on…

The 29-year-old singer is pregnant with her first child, the new Us Weekly reports. Despite the happy news, no one was more surprised than the singer herself.

“B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet,” says a source of the singer, who married rapper Jay-Z in 2008. “She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.”

Still, another insider says that the singer, who is in her first trimester, realizes that “this is a gift from God and she’s so happy.”

Mother Earth Remixes – Halo (Remix) [Tupac vs. Beyonce]

Dope mashup

Mother Earth Remixes came out with this song a long time ago, and it has been featured on Tim’s top free songs of 2009 list. This mashup mixes Tupac’s “Hold On, Be Strong” with Beyonce’s “Halo.” The video was not made by Mother Earth Remixes, but it is pretty good. This is one one the best mashups I have heard, and hopefully, you think the same thing. Mother Earth Remixes tends to create magnificent mashups, and this one is just one of many very good mashups he has made. Lil Wayne’s ‘I Am Not a Human Being’ Hits #1

After failing to reach number 1 thus far, Wayne’s LP hit the top spot after it was finally released in hard copy form. Keep reading…

Lil Wayne‘s I Am Not a Human Being came out two weeks ago, and off internet sales alone it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Last week it plummeted to No. 16, but now that physical copies have been released in stores the album rockets up to No. 1 this week, selling 125,000 copies.

J. Pinder – Cold World

Making noise from his Seattle roots

J. Pinder has a great voice for rapping and accompanies that with a sweet beat and a nice flow. He was a member of the Seattle hip-hop scene until he moved his talent to Atlanta. He’s making it big and for very good reasons. Props to Shane Richardson for the tip.

DJ Moneybags – Up Above It (Mashup) [GoodMusicAllDay.com Exclusive]

Moneybags mashup

DJ Moneybags mixes together the acapella of Drake and Nicki Minaj’s “Up All Night” with an altered beat from Lil Wayne and Drake’s “Right Above It.” It’s a quality mashup. The “Right Above It” beat is better with the original vocals, but the point of this mashup is that DJ Moneybags did a great job mixing these two songs that both feature Drake into one song which applies a better beat to the vocals from “Up All Night.” I received this from our good friend DJ Heezy aka Hunter Bouchard, so here’s his commentary on DJ Moneybags, who he promotes:

Moneybags, a rookie mixtape DJ turned varsity professional production player proudly vehicles the new urban music experience by crafting in-demand mixtapes. Cashed out of Boston, Massachusetts, also socially street tagged as the ‘Bean’, Moneybags is now officially the rare coin and new voice of the block for moving exclusive product. In a music sector seeking dynamics amongst their great heat hustlers, Moneybags’ stock raises eyebrows in Hip Hop’s cultural atmosphere. Still gaining steam in terms of actual fan-fare, but on fire as far as his ability to permeate an overly saturated Mixtape DJ market with custom tapes, Moneybags operates with the same sting as Mixtape DJ pioneers DJ Clue, DJ Kay Slay, and Ron G in their pavement days.

LOGGY – Free To Be (Remix) [Ft. Philip Michael & Akon] (GMAD Exclusive)

New fresh LOGGY

LOGGY sent me an exclusive he’s been urging to drop for days, and finally got clearance to drop it. He remixes one of my new favorite songs in Philip Michael and Akon’s “Free to Be,” which is a perfect R&B song. Well, I believed that until my new friend LOGGY aka Alex Lagemann, who happens to play football for the California Bears, hopped on and remixed the track, producing the track himself, too. LOGGY adds to the track and makes it better with his rapping. As an artist, with every new track he releases, he improves on the last and becomes a better artist, as a result. It would seem that he wouldn’t have enough time during the football season to make some new tracks, but he actually has been recording and has made some impressive tracks in the past, especially his most recent mixtape New Kid that he released mid summer. LOGGY has been reppin us hard lately by posting our links to songs and videos on his facebook fan page, without us even asking him to do so. LOGGY is a senior, graduating this spring. Just a side note, this song along with a bunch of others are all being recorded in LA with members of the band Metro Station. They had the #1 hit “Shake It”, and are awesome people. If LOGGY does not make it pro in football, it appears that his music will soar him to some recognition and could propel him to stardom. I really admire LOGGY as an artist, and as a person, as well. I hope you will come to do the same. I urge you to follow LOGGY on twitter and become his fan on facebook. Props to Tim for adding the mp3 and Schramm for the artwork.

Macklemore – Otherside (Ryan Lewis Remix) (Feat. Fences)

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis collab AGAIN!!!

Okay, so Macklemore and Ryan Lewis come together again, but add Fences, who also are from Seattle. This remix to the popular song “Otherside,” which was a very hot song the the beat from The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Otherside.” This song has way more feeling to it, but is not as good as the other. There is very good story to it, though. Pimp C died after suffering respiratory depression due to an accidental overdose of promethazine and codeine (in the cough syrup ingredient of Purple drank) coupled with a preexisting sleep apnea condition. Macklemore warns against using drugs and hopes we keep sober. Macklemore often tours with the Blue Scholars, creating awsome concerts. Shouts to Matt McMahon for reminding me about the song dropping.

That Kid C-G – One Night! [GoodMusicAllDay.com Exclusive]

Killer C-G track on a GoodMusicAllDay.com Exclusive!

I hope you have been sold on That Kid C-G’s talent. He continues to impress me with the lyricism, flow, and beats he includes in each of his songs. This song appears to be a song leftover from his last mixtape since the album mentioned was Lifestyle’s of The Rich and SWELLegant, which is one of my top 10 favorite mixtapes of the year, hands down, maybe even in my top 5. Did you see the word “SWELL” in the title of that mixtape? Yes, That Kid C-G along with Chiddy of Chiddy Bang created the term “SWELL” in high school. We have seen That Kid C-G collab with Chiddy on 3 tracks on his last mixtape and we can surely expect more collabs from them soon. Guy Chirico of Chiddy Bang Entertainment hit us up with this exclusive, so here’s some news you should definitely view:

Chiddy and That Kid C-G plan on doing a mixtape together to hopefully drop in December. That Kid C-G is also trying to drop a solo mixtape before that.

Ground Up – Highlights (Official Music Video)

Dope Video/Song

Alright so I had heard of the Ground Up because I grew up outside philly so that was the website’s first city fanbase, but hadn’t really given em a shot yet. Boy was that a mistake. This duo is showing a ton of talent/potential in just the two videos they sent to me. Here is a lil about them from the e-mail too . . .

I’d like to introduce you to an up-n-coming hip-hip group based out of Philly, Ground Up.  Made up of 2 rappers (Azar and Malakai) and a producer (Bij Lincs), Ground Up is rapidly gaining a fan base around the tri-state area. They have opened up for artists such as Gucci, Meek Mill, Chiddy Bang, and have shows lined up in October and November with Rick Ross and Nappy Roots.

Expect some downloads and more music from them soon, I know this video isn’t anything new so sorry if you were on the bandwagon before me . . . enjoy

UPDATE: Switched the tracks up because they realized another dope video about two weeks ago that is a glimpse of their more recent work and hypes you for their new mixtape dropping mid-November.

That Kid C-G – Techno (Freestyle) [GoodMusicAllDay.com mp3 Exclusive]

Another fresh That Kid C-G song

This is That Kid C-G’s year. If you missed yesterday’s post on That Kid C-G, make sure you check it out here. That Kid C-G is a part of Chiddy Bang Entertainment, which means that he tends to collab with Chiddy, like he did on his last mixtape, Lifestyle’s of The Rich and SWELLegant, which has Chiddy on it 3 times and is among my top 10 favorite mixtapes of the year. You may have heard the beat before since it was the same one on Wiz Khalifa’s “Say Yeah,” which samples Alice Deejay’s “Better off Alone.” Anyway, That Kid C-G kills the beat just as he does on every track he jumps on. CG is a very good lyricist and is in a good position to make major moves, not that he hasn’t already (he knows people and he’s an amazing rapper). Check this again if you missed it last time: Guy Chirico of Chiddy Bang Entertainment hit us up with this exclusive, so here’s some news you should definitely view:

Kanye West – ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ Cover #1

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (Album Cover 2)

Here is the first cover from Ye’s upcoming album. As you may remember, the album will include 5 covers, all of which will be included in your purchase of the album. Looks a lot like the ‘Runaway‘ cover as you may remember. Thoughts?
