NFS World September 28th Maintenance Window & Release Notes (Patch 4.11)

Purpose:
The purpose of this maintenance window is to deploy the server / game patch 4.11; Release note below.

Duration:
Two (2) hours

Start: 20:00 hrs (8:00 PM) PDT
End: 22:00 hrs (10:00 PM) PDT

Affected Users:
During the maintenance window, the servers were offline and users were not able to log in and play Need for Speed World. Players who are already logged in and playing NFS World will be diconnected from the server and therefore, disconnected from the game.

RELEASE NOTES:

NEW
- Race Now: This new feature can be found in the center of the gadget bar and allows players to matchmaking into the next available multiplayer race from anywhere on the map.
- Tutorials: A new tutorial system has been added at Levels 1 to 3 to help players familiarize themselves with all the features of Need for Speed World.
- Additional cars have been added in-game:
- Porsche 911 Turbo
- BMW M3 E92
- BMW 135i Coupe
- Toyota Supra
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

CHANGES/FIXES
- Pursuit Breakers should now properly respawn after completing a pursuit
- Fixed an issue in the paint shop that occurred when undoing/resetting changes
- Fixed a race barrier that was pointing the wrong direction
- General UI improvements have been made throughout the game
- Updated the Launcher to add the Server Status on the login page

‘Deuces’ Remix Line-Up Announced

Earlier tonight, via UStream, Chris Brown revealed the line-up for the up-coming Deuces remix and needless to say I’m slightly frightened. To start, Rick Ross was supposed to be on the remix, but was scratched. Okay, first up is T.I. which I am unsure of about because he’s going to jail any moment. Next up, Fabolous adds some east coast appeal, and from here is gets crazy. Drake, Andre 3000, and Kanye round of the list. Let’s Review.

Kanye’s Album + ‘G.O.O.D Fridays’ Update

Rap-Up has learned that Kanye is scheduling a November 22nd release date. ~~Kanye will have to share the spotlight~~ These artists will have to share the stage with Ye, as they are scheduling releases the same week, Ne-Yo (Libra Scale), Flo Rida (The Only 1), Nicki Minaj (Pink Friday), Akon (Akonic), and Lloyd Banks (H.F.M. 2) . Seems kind of odd so many releases the same week right? No, because the Friday of that week if Black Friday aka the biggest shopping day of the year and record labels aren’t stupid. Stay tuned for a title and a tracklist (official, that is).

As for all you ‘G.O.O.D. Friday’ fans, fear not, because Kayne is planning on continuing the tradition until Christmas. Yes, you heard right, Christmas. Oh and he’s hosting SNL again in a few weeks for all of you who care.

What’z poppin!

I hope that you all are well and as always, thank you thank you thank you for the endless love and support. I think by the time you all read this I’ll be 28 years old… feeling ancient in this b#tch! On that note, I do encourage you young people to enjoy your youth. And for the old heads like me, enjoy your life. Everyday!

As for me, I’m good. Awaiting freedom patiently. People often ask does the days feel longer now that the time is getting shorter… I say that there’s 24 hours in everyday. But honestly, I can’t fxckin’ wait! Sorry. Anyway, I’m still playing UNO. Still doing pushups and such, by the way, please don’t expect me to come out looking any different. I’m the same little ‘ol me. Also, I’ve been trying to get as much rest as I can because I know I won’t when I’m out of here. Wait, Aaliyah’s “Let Me Know” just came on the radio! “At your best, you are love”… and I try to always be at my best, for you.

I only listen to slow jams and ESPN. Shoutout to Keith Stewart and Dr. Bob Lee on WBLS, and Lenny Green on KISSfm. That’s all I listen to, other than sports. Oh and if you haven’t heard the new song by Eric Benet, “Sometimes I Cry”, please stop what you’re doing and check it out. Well, after you finish reading this. It’s the best song I’ve heard since Maxwell’s “Woman’s Worth”. It’s for grown folk. I actually listen to the radio all day waiting for that song. Anyway, so back to my fans, you are the best in the world. When reading those letters, you never cease to amaze me with your love. I am forever grateful.

So my kids are perfect. I miss them like crazy! Reginaé, you are the angel of my life. Kam, you are amazing. Neal, you are my little wonderful meatball. And Lil Tunechi Jr., you are so me. City, I am so you! I love my family and I thank them for the support during this time. It’s almost over. To my YMCM family, you are the fxckin’ best! Uhh Nik, I am jealous of you and Drizzy, but it’s cool! Ha ha. I miss you all and keep killin’ ‘em. I love y’all.

To everyone who’s come to visit me. I thank you for that, graciously. It means a lot. Well I’ll end this letter but never my love. You can always count on PJ Simas to throw at us another song that is of the best quality. PJ incorporates a lot his life in his music. PJ attends Cal Poly and has to attend classes, while being separated from his girlfriend and son. While This is a really emotional song and sounds like he’s having a tough time being back at school without the people he loves the most. I hope you can relate to it in some way. I first posted this song in July and posted it as a “MUST DOWNLOAD TRACK”, and trust me, it was well received. When I saw this brand new video by Gilbere my first reaction was chills. This music video, along with the song, both leave you with a nice indie feeling behind it all. When this was first posted it had a 5 star rating with 100+ votes and 2000+ downloads in the first week, so be sure to download this. If this is what Los Angeles is like, please take me there. Oh, and by the way, it’s produced by a member of Passion Pit, so you know it’s going to be good. Props to Sunset In The Rearview for this one.

Nice Electro Remix

I admit, I am not that big into dubstep yet, but it is slowly growing on me. I am not sure if this will qualify as dubstep, or Drum and Bass, or a ‘Pretty Lights’-like remix… or maybe a blend of all those genres but it is something I am really enjoying. Don’t shy away with the title saying it is a Dolly Parton remix, because all you get is about a 5 second clip looped and mixed into the song. I really love the beat, how it changes pace and feel all throughout the song and also really enjoy how they bring the Dolly P hook into it. I fell in love with this song in my car, so maybe that is where you need to experience it to get the full enjoyment that I do, ha. Enjoy!

This is an amazing track. We have posted a lot of Incomparable Shakespeare in the past but this is one of my favorites. I found it at PnP so I’ll let them do the talking

Incomparable Shakespeare has been working on a project with musician/singer/songwriter Jon Solo (the group name will be MIX MSSG.) A lot of times when hip-hop artists link up with singer/songwriters, the singer/songwriter gets molded to fit in the box of “the guy on the chorus”. Shakespeare and Jon Solo are heading in a much more collaborative direction, often blurring the boundaries and stepping into some new, very promising territory. If this is a sign of things to come, we have reason to be excited. Very cool sound.

President Obama Listens to Weezy F.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, President Obama elaborated on the news that he likes a little Jay-Z in music diet. Let’s just say his hip-hop taste has expanded..

What music have you been listening to lately? What have you discovered, what speaks to you these days?

My iPod now has about 2,000 songs, and it is a source of great pleasure to me. I am probably still more heavily weighted toward the music of my childhood than I am the new stuff. There’s still a lot of Stevie Wonder, a lot of Bob Dylan, a lot of Rolling Stones, a lot of R&B, a lot of Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Those are the old standards.

A lot of classical music. I’m not a big opera buff in terms of going to opera, but there are days where Maria Callas is exactly what I need.

Thanks to Reggie [Love, the president's personal aide], my rap palate has greatly improved. Jay-Z used to be sort of what predominated, but now I’ve got a little Nas and a little Lil Wayne and some other stuff, but I would not claim to be an expert. Malia and Sasha are now getting old enough to where they start hipping me to things. Music is still a great source of joy and occasional solace in the midst of what can be some difficult days.

The Finished Product

Well, the first “CDQ” version of this track left me a little disappointed. After waiting two painful hours filled with horrible jokes by Chelsea Handler for Ye’s performance at the VMA’s this year, I was left with my jaw on the floor and the urge to immediately download the song “Runaway”. A day later that track came out, but without the sampling… two and a half weeks later, the finished studio mastered track comes out with the finish product sounding perfect. Enjoy the track how it’s supposed to be enjoyed now!
