Well this is petty simple for me… One of my favorite indie songs remixed by one of my favorites remix groups…. pretty sure I will love this one, and I do. The Remix Artist Collective take Empire Of The Sun’s SMASH hit Walking On A Dream and adds their signature synth sound to it (which you may recognize from here) and make this a very high energy, funky song. Mixtape Update!
Mixtapes: When You Want
Ever find yourself at a party and wanting to put on the party mixtape we put together but don’t have your iPod? Or maybe at work with no iTunes and want to enjoy any of the other mixtapes? Well no need to be in silence anymore! We have now uploaded all our GMAD Mixtapes onto the site where you can press play on the first song, and the will fully stream the whole tape without needing to click the next song. Also all the links have been updated and are working and also feel free to DL the songs you like individually (We would assume that would be the whole tape tho). I have also added a few bonus tracks on to my personal favorite mixtape, The Lake Edition that have been posted on GMAD, but felt they fit perfectly with that tape, so if you don’t have them, grab it now! Wow, so this track is by Juan aka Jasper Kid and he samples the Imogean Heap song Hide and Seek to create an absolute gem. This is def a track you will feel your body start moving to, no matter how awkward of a a dancer you are (maybe have a beer or two or 10 first so you don’t feel to self-conscience grooving to it). This is the first time we have used the GMAD DJ drop for the song, and yes we are aware it’s annoying, but we only put it in the beginning of the song not all the way throughout (like most DJ drops) because we know it’s still about the music. Enjoy the song and look for some more great tracks from him.

Tayyib Ali – PA Chillin’
Na Na Na Na Hey Hey Hey…
His name’s Tayyib and he’s from PA. This is an older song Tayyib released several months ago, but it hasn’t been posted on GMAD, and it’s too good to pass on. He remixes Wale’s “Chillin’” and is able to hold his own on the song. In the song, Tayyib goes crazy, spittin fire with some quick, witty rhymes. More importantly for the song is that Tayyib was very good back then when he recorded this song and he is very good now and has shown a lot of signs of stardom. Can we expect big moves to continue for this 18 year old that wishes he was still a kid again? I’m sure we can, and expect his mixtape to be one of your favorites from the year. Every song I have heard from the tape has been something really good, but I bet he has more in store for us. Get ready for more good music on his mixtape Eighteen, and become a fan of Tayyib Ali on facebook.
