What, exactly, is Chiddy Bang? Chiddy Bang sounds like a high-impact sound, a street movement and a sudden sensation. All those things are true. But specifically, Chiddy Bang is Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege and Noah Beresin, aka Xaphoon Jones. They’re hip-hop heads, indie-rock experts, sample savvy, instrumentalists and lyricists, and they’re about to become very very big.
Chiddy Bang went from a college campus–Chidera and Noah met at Drexel University–to must-know band among the music blog set (not to mention Kanye West, who blogged about them), which latched on to their early tracks and The Swelly Express mixtape–to mainstage must-sees at Glastonbury and Lollapalooza and guest spots on Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg’s live shows.
